Research Interests

My research interest lies at the intersection of heterogeneous catalysis and nanomaterial synthesis, with a particular focus on defect engineering in metal oxides. I seek to unravel how engineered defects influence catalyst structure, performance, and deactivation, with a specific focus on utilizing defective domains to enhance light–matter interactions and promote the catalytic conversion of small molecules, including CO₂, CH₄, N₂, and H₂S. My goal is to develop efficient, durable catalysts for sustainable chemical transformations.
