Research Interests

I am interested in direct absorption and enhanced absorption techniques like cw-CRDS, off-axis CEAS and multiple-pass absorption to measure the properties of combustion related species. I am also interested in developing optical instruments for environment and breath sensing applications. My background is in Raman spectroscopy. I have developed a multiple-pass Raman spectrometer for accurate flame temperature measurements. I have also used Raman and Rayleigh scattering to measure the non-equilibrium energy distribution in a supersonic flow.
