Rafid Bendimerad is a postdoctoral researcher at the FASTER Lab, where he develops Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAFs) by integrating advanced spectroscopy measurements with machine-learning models. Before joining FASTER, he completed a PhD in Aerospace Engineering at Cornell University, where he developed ML-based models to evaluate ionic liquids as propellants for electric propulsion and developed a framework to model and optimize on-orbit refueling strategies.
